The residents of Ward 7 are fighting to "SAVE
BENNING LIBRARY", our much loved neighborhood library that
developers are proposing to demolish and construct a new library with housing
attached to it. There is a ground swell of opposition to this plan. We
appreciate your disseminating the attached
flyer.
In addition, we would love to hear from people from all
over about their memories of Benning Library
and/or their thoughts about the
value of public libraries in general.
